CRUDE OIL
GASOLINE AND DIESEL
Gasoline, it is used almost exclusively in the transportation sector, mostly as a fuel in automobiles and other light-duty vehicles.
Diesel, it is used primarily in the transportation sector, and it is the primary fuel used in heavy-duty trucks and locomotives. Also, in some markets, it is used in light-duty cars and trucks.
Jet Fuel
Jet fuel is one of the major petroleum products produced from processing crude oil in a petroleum refinery.
Jet fuel is one of the higher-valued light products (along with gasoline and diesel). It is used primarily in the transportation sector. It is the primary fuel used in jet aircraft, but it is also used in other jet turbine applications.
DIESEL FUEL (GAS OIL)
D6 is a type of residual fuel, mainly used in power plants and larger ships. The fuel is required to be preheated before it can be used. It is not possible to use it in smaller engines or vessels/vehicles where it is not possible to pre-heat it.
D2 is a refinery abbreviation for Gasoil. It is the second distillate from the crude, and can be used without reformers and additives.
MAZUT
Mazut is a heavy, low quality fuel oil, used in generating plants and similar applications. In the United States and Western Europe, mazut is blended or broken down, with the end product being diesel.
